The complete bathroom installation
The was a tricky shape for bathroom because it is long and thin with two doors to access the room. For this bathroom the client requested a bath with space for a good sized shower area and boxing away of the pipe work to make it easy to keep clean.
Our installer started by removing the existing suite, tiles, flooring and disposing all of the rubbish. The Carron Sigma was used for this bathroom because it is 1800mm long making it a comfortable bath and the curve gives extra space for showering. Teaming this bath up with the Aqualisa Quartz shower delivers an invigorating showing experience.
Due to the room being narrow we had to look at space saving basin and as it is an older property the Vitoria 500mm cloakroom basin was chosen. This allowed us to use the wider bath and it is still comfortable to walk through the room. To complement the basin we fitted the Vitoria close coupled W/C. To complete the traditional look the Burlington Trafalgar heated towel rail went in.
To create a feature with the tiles we used decor tiles from floor to ceiling on the window wall. As you walk into the room the landing is eye is drawn to the feature. The flooring in this room is the Karndean Palio Clic system. The Karndean Palio flooring system is warmer under foot than tiles and has good slip resistance.
