Striata walk in shower

For this renovation the aim waste to create an easy to use shower room with storage and elegance. We began by calling round to complete a free survey to assess the room and the the requirements. Once everything had been selected and the client was happy with the design we set a start date.
On the first day our engineer removed the existing suite, tiles and dispose of all the rubbish. There was a lot of exposed pipework in this room and what we could not reroute (due to decoration in the adjoining rooms) we boxed over in preparation for tiling. Continuing with the first fix we set the pipework for the basin, toilet and heated towel rail in place and the shower tray was installed.
The tiles selected for project where grey stone effect tiles with a feature tile be used vertically inside the shower area. To ensure a balanced look our tiler work out the design of the tiles before even cutting one, this ensured a good visual balance to the tiles and no awkward cuts. To add a bit of style to the tiling chrome trims were chosen to finish the edge of the tiles. We also the tiled the floor with a grey tile that complements the wall tiles. The world of tiling has really opened up over the last decade and you can create your own unique look, to find out more about our bespoke tiling team please contact us on 01472 361844 or click here
After the tiling was completed we fixed the toilet in place followed by the basin and gull winged unit. The chrome heated towel rail was fitted and the shower screen went up. The Grohe thermostatic bar mixer shower was installed with its adjustable slide rail kit and a Roman corner basket.
