Keystone Wetroom

For this project we were contacted by an insurance company to carry out extensive repair work to this room. The client had been having problems with water escaping from the wetroom and damaging the wooden floor in the hall way. We be by surveying to establish where the faults were so we could suggest a cause of action that would cure the problem. This meant the removal of the existing floor and wall tiling so we could replace the wetroom tray that had been fitted incorrectly and was the reason for the problems. Once the problems had been identified and installation date that was convenient for the client was set.
Our engineer began by removing the the existing toilet, basin, shower and heated towel rail carefully so they could be reinstalled after the tiling had been completed. Then the tiles and screen were taken out and all of the rubbish was disposed of. The wetroom shower tray and tanking kit were fitted next to create a waterproof barrier before the tiles went up.
After the tiling had been complete the existing items were reinstalled and a new screen was fitted. The wetroom is now fully functional and a welcome addition to a busy household. To find out how we can help with your renovation call into one of our showrooms in Grimsby or Louth.
