The criteria for this installation was to create a wetroom with a classic look. After our engineers had removed and disposed of everything work began on the drainage for the shower area. This was sunk into the floor to create a level access shower area and with the addition of the wetroom try to create the fall this shower area drains away quickly. We then cladded the ceiling with PVC panels which gives a surface that is easy clean and never need painting. The bathroom suitable spot lights went in and an extractor fan with a light was fitted into the ceiling to reduce the condensation build up.
Panels were selected for the walls inside the shower area on this project, these give an easy to clean surface with a bold look complemented by the tiles. Our engineers then installed the tiles contouring them to the floor for the drainage. To create a neat finished around the sliding door into the room our engineer fabricated new reveals for the panels and finished them with a chrome trim to match the rest of the room. The low level toilet and traditional heated towel rail went in next with the basin and mixer as well,
To complete this renovation the electric shower was fitted and a curtain and rail put up, a curtain and rail were selected for this project to allow more access than a screen would allow.
